  1. priebe is right. The axle nut is torqued to 111 ft lbs, you'll want the wheels on the ground and if you're using a breaker bar or torque wrench push toward the ground, otherwise you'll lift the rear of the bike and/or compress the suspension.
  2. Thanks. Yes, NOS 2019, Great bike now with 3K commuter miles, love that superbike-like acceleration. Plus it's fantastic to ride in the city, comfortable, responsive, great brakes and handling. Here's a couple of pics, the Tracer dirty after some rainy days and the RD400 in the early 80s, with my granddad.
