Guest lawrenceofsuburbia
I'm slowly working my way around this bike and getting used to some of its quirks. The helmet holder 'hook' - refer to the not-very-good pic on page 4-30 of the Owner's Manual - is used in conjunction with the short piece of cable to hold the helmet. Looking at the hook - [em]see my pic, hook arrowed[/em] - I have to say that it looks excessively well-designed and strongly-fabricated to be merely a means of holding the loops of the cable. Is it serving another/ additional purpose, or am I missing something? It's pretty 'fiddly' in use too - wouldn't want to be trying to use it with freezing, wet fingers! cobby7
I suppose it's got to not break if someone tries grabbing the helmet. Although I don't know how hard it would be to cut the wire. If it's fiddly it means that nobody can wiggle it free too and disappear with your helmet.
