drseuss Posted May 10, 2015 Share Posted May 10, 2015 Hello everyone! Thought I would take a moment and introduce myself. As of yesterday I became the the proud owner brand new FJ09. Actually the first time purchasing any ththe ing brand new as far as vehicles are concerned. It was a grand adventure of typhoon rain and an 8 hour round trip journey from home and the dealership where the bike was purchased. Needless to say this beauty made her maiden voyage tied down inside an enclosed trailer instead of the two day break in run I had planned. Turns out that was a good thing because once it was unloaded at the shop late last night a really good once over revealed some loose nuts and bolts the set up guys had missed. Nothing serious though. So todays forcast is sunny and 60. And I feel like a kidd on Christmas morning as I rush through the morning chores and prepare for a day on the road getting acquainted with my new FJ. Understatement of the year right there. With all the info I've found here,accessorizing and maintaining my new mistress won't be a problem. You guys rock. This bike was a perfect choice for me.
