redfjniner
I'm going to try the lower bolts. I didn't on the first go around because I liked the fact that the upper ones are the ones that have no gaps to pinch. Ken, Candy Ass L.D.R. leedavis
That's a good find. I ordered two of them. You can't have too many Ram Ball mounts.
Premium Member jetfixer Posted January 23, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted January 23, 2015 I believe I read it in the manual and the installation is the same as on my fz1. You loosely tighten the forward bolts down first till the upper and lower clamps touch, then the rear bolts. You end up with a gap on the back side of the clamps. It didn't look right to me the first time I did it but it is. Bill 2015 Heeled by the hands of Nel's @ 2WheelDynoworks K-Tech forks and shock lots of other expensive unimportant stuff. redfjniner
Typical Yamaha design for handle bars. After the fixed end is tighten, the second end has a gap and becomes like a pinch bolt, like on the front axle. This is typical in axle design on drive shaft bikes too. Ken, Candy Ass L.D.R.
