Supporting Member piotrek Posted August 28, 2018 Supporting Member Share Posted August 28, 2018 Spent the weekend riding twisties in Pennsylvania with 14 other riders from our local riding group. Destination Treasure Lake, DuBois. Ride captain took us through some awesome roads (part of 666, 555, 6 and a bunch of others). Absolutely gorgeous area. There was lots of honking and waving through the small towns as the locals waved us by (mostly kids and fellow bikers). Stayed the night at a lakeside lodge, graciously donated for the trip by a group member. The bike performed great. Practiced feathering my front brake a little bit through some benders... it worked nicely. I might have felt God's helping hand once or twice (bloody tar snakes), but no real drama . Drivers in the area were very courteous for the most part, so passing vehicles was not an issue. Short and sweet, about 1,200km in total. Here's a video trace of our trip back to Canada, recorded by the tail gunner with the Relive app. [video src=https://youtu.be/KtNMsAmFZlk] A bunch of happy Canucks taking in the sights... I'll be visiting again.
