  1. Hope you make it out there and that you are blessed with sunny skies when you do 😀. I was lucky as the next day after my ride it poured the entire day!
  2. 100%. I came from a Kawasaki Z650 which is a cheaper bike but I never felt a lack of confidence from messing about with the clutch. So many bad mechanics out there..
  3. Recently, I took a trip up to BC Canada near the Vancouver area and rented a Tracer GT for a day. I ended up doing a tour of the Sea to Sky Highway, stopping to see sights along the way. I had seen some videos of this highway on Youtube before but riding this road in person blew me away. The entire road (I did a round trip from Vancouver to Whistler) was a constant barrage of amazing views. It's essentially a long flowy road with mostly gentle curves that takes you past every type of natural beauty imaginable - river rapids, island views, mountain scapes, bay views. Not to mention all the little towns and attractions on the way. I've ridden quite a few of the top roads in California and I still think this takes the cake. What an amazing road and I would highly recommend touring it if you ever find yourself on the west coast of Canada. Here is a video clip from a section of the highway that overlooks the bay. I took this during sunset, which makes it all the better. https://youtu.be/XhK2S8zL0QY.
  4. Same issue on my 2021 (just under 4k miles) and another that I rented previously. Anyone else feel a whole-bike vibration every once in a while between hitting the friction zone on the clutch and releasing the clutch fully after taking off in 1st gear? It's almost like a feeling of something rubbing in the bike. I've felt this on my Tracer 9 GT as well as the one I rented and even on a XSR 900 I recently rented. The other day I did a U-turn take off and the vibration lasted a good second or two. Very odd.
  5. Leg sliders...that's a first! I've used OES sliders on a previous bike but never seen how they held up. I might consider them though since they are substantially cheaper.
  6. Hey Y'all, new Tracer 9 GT owner here. I've been looking for some protection for the new bike and it seems like there aren't too many options out there. I've decided that I'll probably get a pair of Puig frame sliders and axle sliders but am debating whether to get a pair of rear axle sliders. It seems like the side case luggage attachment points stick out farther than the rear sliders would (in the event that side cases aren't being used) so I'm not sure if they would actually be useful in a slide. How is everyone else handling this? Would love to hear any other recommendations on other bike protection people are using on their Tracer as well.
