Awesome! And appropriate! Excellent work!I haven't had much time on the bike but I was stuck in traffic on my way home yesterday and I figured i could snap a quick photo.
This is Independence Hall (you may recognize this from the back of the $100 bill) and in the building to the left holds the Liberty Bell. Its kinda fitting for 4th of July
The Next Target is your FJ-09 in a Harley Davidson Dealership lot or with the HD Dealership sign.
Whats more American that Harley, right?
Hope everyone has a fun safe holiday and gets some time on 2 wheels.

Put a Seat Concepts seat on. Thanks arcboy.

Got em, love em. I replace them when they get funky. Once a year or so. As always YMMV
Well they were cheap enough, and a lot of people love them. I figure I'll give them a try and if I don't like them, I'll can just take them off.Last bike I had came with grip puppies on it and I could never get over the "fat" feeling. That was an '02 zr7 that handled nowhere near as well as the fj, but with the puppies on I felt like I had way less control of the bike. I've been tempted to try the puppies on the fj so I'm curious how they fare for you.

Ok. I assume Trambo has accepted my submission.
It seems that the guys in rural areas have trouble with urban things and the urban guys have trouble with rural things. So I'm going to try to remedy that.
Texscottyd got me thinking about art which led me to graffiti.
So. A picture of your FJ in front of true graffiti. A "tagged" object, not a commissioned mural. A very urban thing
OR
A picture of your FJ in front of a "historical" marker or area. Which are everywhere. If you can't get to the marker you must explain what is historical about the area.
It can be a simple as I lost my virginity here. Or as complicated as the invasion of Normandy....
Hopefully this allows everyone to get into the game

And a dive that just happens to have a barstool with my name on it.

Happens to be on the DDD site right now

The offending post has been deleted. Keeping the delicate sensibilities of all intact.

It floats. (rofl)That close enough
-
Ok. An obvious misfire on my part.
A picture of your FJ with any form of watercraft. If it floats it's a watercraft.

:-/ I didn't really think about that. Sorry.Your mark is tough for those of us that live farther than an hour from an ocean.
If it goes too long. I'll change it to something else.
-
Sorry. I got distracted.

I realize this is older and about "full" covers.
My Nelson-Rigg 3/4 does the job on the road.
Doesn't take up any space. Covers the top of the bike.
And it's waterproof.
2 thumbs up

Yeah. I'm not sure about the whole thing. :-/ That's an old Garmin 750. If it don't work out. If it fits it ships at the USPS. Back home it goes.
You might find gawking down at the thing distracting... but I bet you'll have all kinds of fun anyway. Bon voyage!... bring back a story.Heading out on a trip the end of next week. Trying to set up the cockpit. I've never used a GPS on a bike. I'm a paper map guy and just use my phone and Google maps at the end of the day to find lodging food and drinks.
I hope it's adventure. Just not too much adventure.... Wink, wink, nod, nod, nudge, nudge.

She understands.....
Well, you’ll never be able to tell the wife you were late because you got lost.Heading out on a trip the end of next week. Trying to set up the cockpit. I've never used a GPS on a bike. I'm a paper map guy and just use my phone and Google maps at the end of the day to find lodging food and drinks.

Yesterday I put a Roadsmart 3 on the rear.
Today I put 150 miles on it.

The end of a Honda in the everglades to a break on Dania beach.

Actually cool by South Florida standards. 50* ish in the morning low 70's in the afternoon.^ Looks warm. Nice!

From the everglades to the (almost) intercoastal

What? If anything is the point of the 3 year old whine about open information on the net? I really don't get it.
However the weather is nice here in SOFLA it is a bit windy though.

Yes. That is a Cortech 2.0 24 Liter tailbag expanded to fit the laptop. It is a full sized laptop. 15" x 10" it's a bit snug getting in the opening but it does go in without being awkward. Plus there is room to put other stuff in there with it.
The bag is a little bit "floppy" when expanded. The expanded (expanding?) material isn't as ridged as the rest of the bag. So the "ears" can move around some.
Hope that was helpful
