  1. You have also a good day... 8-) ....just sharing knowledge and experience...try it...it's so much fun...
  2. Test done...and it's rock solid...no movement whatsoever.... This is IMHO THE location for your GPS... Highly recommended...
  3. @jimf: I think it will be fine since the screen is only mounted with those 4 goofy screws surrounded in rubber...but the rest is pretty solid. Will do some extensive riding the next 2 days and report back here... Regarding vibrations to the GPS I'm not too worried since those are filtered out by the RAM Balls on both mount and GPS holder.
  4. It's RAM-B-309-1U But check your Garmin box.....most of the time it's part of the package...
  5. Do you have a pic of the flip side? I'm wondering how you secured it. I'm thinking you used a simple drilled plate. Also, that looks like a RAM handlebar mount, yes? Did it need to be altered in any way or just bolted on? Only have this pic from my initial testing and fitting but it will give you and idea about how it's (secure) bolted Once I had the correct fitment I drilled an additional hole in the middle of the RAM Handlebar Mount (which comes with every Garmin GPS) for the 2nd bolt. And of course drilled the 2 holes in the screen mount. And would have done this sooner but would have thought some kind of GPS mount was developed for it by now... Anyway...this was easy peasy to do...
  6. Crafted a solution for the GPS so it's mounted above the clocks.... Very cheap solution with pieces which are already part of your (Garmin) GPS....
  7. ... So this made me wonder if the Ebay Fz6 rubber footpegs are also slippery when wet ? They are not...
  8. NOOOOO!!!! I wonder if I can return mine. I wanted to set them up as turn signals anyways..... if they had included the module shown in the instructions. Ty Better wait another month for the switchback version....
  9. Thank you for the good intentions, but unfortunately (a) my schoolboy French is not that good and (b) the installation shown seems to refer to side-lights: and the two wires in my LED's pigtail are white and black, too... But I do appreciate your interest. I'm sure others can (and hopefully will ) post helpful words/ pix. L of S Know the existence of Google Translate... ;)I thought you wanted to know how to connect the wires...the pics show you exactly where you can hook up the wires...where black is ground and the other color is positive.
  10. Ditto ditto ditto - I DO admit to being a complete no-hoper when it comes to electrical stuff! L of S Not sure how your French is but the pictures might help on this link: http://www.mt09.net/t4098-installation-des-clignotants-led-a-l-avant
  11. The quality is perfect....nicely wrapped in a descent package. Materials are also from outstanding quality...Value for money.. If you would take a look at the installation manual link (on ebay) you can see the mounting details.
  12. Pics, or a link? Ty Tried a search already..? If not...here's one example... ...: http://fj-09.org/thread/1010/farkling
