  1. I've done searches on both sites and haven't been able to find any with that type of profile. All I can find seem to be made to clip onto the rim of a car wheel rather than the center rib of our wheels like the one in my picture.

  2. Can anyone tell me what type of wheel weight this is that came on my FJ? Asking at the dealer where I purchased the bike was a total waste of time. I really prefer these to the stick on weights that don't seem to hold on good ,especially on the narrow front wheel. So if anyone knows where I can get this style I would appreciate it. 20191019_112248.thumb.jpg.eef61e1d6304bd3a739fcda3ae58054a.jpg

  3. Got the bike cleaned up and ready for my Gatlinburg trip and surrounding areas next week.

Plan to do the Cherohala Skyway,  Tail of the Dragon,  Cades Cove and  some other fun roads.

Planning on taking a  scenic route up there that will have me in the saddle for 7 to  8 hours. Be interesting to see how I hold up to that. The longest I've ridden it since I got it is only about an hour at a time. One year and 13,300 miles and nearly all of it has been commuting to work and back.

Going to have some soft saddle bags and a waterproof duffel bag that should give me a backrest.

i looks like you have the delkevic exhaust on there...how do you like it??  any sound clips by chance??

It's the Delkevic with the 14" oval muffler. It's not much louder than stock, it has a lower less raspy exhaust sound.

The bracket and clamp that holds the muffler is not the firmest setup. At one point the muffler was rubbing against the rear tire. There is very little room between the tire on one side and the center stand on the other.

Sorry, no sound clips, took me forever to figure out how to get that video above short enough to post on here.

  5. Well, I got my bike put back together this evening after getting my ECU back from 2WDW's yesterday.  While I had it torn down that far I went ahead and did a throttle body sync for the first time. The bike has a little over 13,000 miles on it and the synchronization looked very close, I would say it was fine as it was. However since I was hooked up I went ahead and tweaked a bit.

As far as the flash goes I think it feels pretty good and it doesn't stop pulling at 114 mph now. But since it's been down for a week it's hard to say how much better it feels because just getting on it again like it was would feel great!

I had recently installed a complete Delkevic exhaust and on deceleration it would do a little popping and burbling which I didn't really mind. Now however after the flash it does some pretty loud backfiring. Is this normal or is the flash not quite right? Is there something I can do to stop it from backfiring?

Also the check engine light has come on.

I got the tools along with the tires (Michelin Road 5) and I did the front and rear tires last night!  $40 Harbor Freight balancing stand worked nicely.  Going for a long ride today and it's also the first time in 23k miles that I'll have new tires on front and rear at the same time.

What weights did you use for balancing? I recently did mine using the original clip on weights that were on the wheels when I got it but I also used some stick on weights that have since departed. The wheels don't have good flat surfaces for stick ons.

  7. Sent my ECU to 2WDW's Wednesday evening for their reflash. Put a Delkevic full exhaust on it a few weeks ago and used that as an excuse to finally get the reflash. Of course I've always wanted to get rid of that speed limiter since I got the bike a year ago. I just don't believe in letting so one else making the decision of how fast I should ride my bike!

Anyhow I'm really missing my ride and can't wait to get it back on the road. Going to be spending a week up around Gatlinburg soon enjoying all the great roads around that area.
