  1. Hi Keithu,

As you say, about the only print magazine left.

    Popular Cycling

    Cycle

    Motorcyclist (online only)

    Sport Bike

    Cycle World (quarterly)

    Rider

I subscribed to these publications over the years, most gone....

Rider magazine is the only one I currently purchase.

When Motorcyclist and CW went quarterly, I lost interest due to the content.

I only read the British magazines infrequently. ( When I happen to be in a Barnes and Nobles book store in a big city). Of course, contributing to their demise, since I don't purchase....

It's the Bret cave, somewhere to escape as it's not attached to the house plenty of room for a cot when she who must be obeyed has me on her shit list

Which after 40 years I still find myself on all too frequently

    Haha, 48 here.....it doesn't change....

I remind her, now and then, she was a poor judge of character.😁

But, she puts up with me.. so I am happy...

  3. Ah, new chain, sprockets, and tires..

    A great combination....

It was 92 degrees here today. The last 75 miles was warm.

Southern Indiana isn't like N GA. At least in GA you get into the mountains where it's cooler....

You know, there's a temperature where speed doesn't cool much... haha... but I keep trying....

  4. Hi, 15, 16,000 miles, stock suspension, R3's. 180# nekkid...

Based on the rear tire pattern, I need to stiffen/harden/slow the rebound on the rear shock. (Dave Miss videos)

I'm one click out from "closed". Still have some scalloping.

    Anyone have the same experience?

I haven't seen many rebates this summer, Bridgestone had their $60 per set rebate in March/April.

The everyday normal price on Bridgestone T31 is $240 a set on RMATV.  Great tire with lots of grip.

    Hi,

Did you mount the T31's yourself?

I used to have a tire machine and mounted many.

I moved and sold the equipment. I now mount with spoons and grunt work...

The R3's were difficult due to stiff sidewalls.

  6. Glad to hear you are doing well.

I am from Woodstock GA and love the N GA Mountains.

Now reside in S. Indiana that the wife can be close to the kids/grandkids....

    RR is a favorite road.

And GA dirt is slick when damp....☹️

66 this month. Yep, time marches on......

Indeed they are.   I’ll write up a detailed evaluation after I get a few more miles on them, but my initial impressions are favorable.   The steering behavior is very different from the Michelins I’ve been running, as the profile of the front seems to be much more round on the Dunlop...  it’s different.  Not necessarily better or worse, just different.

Hi, yep, interested in your thoughts.

7000 miles on a current set of RS3....
