Fair point, but imo it's just something else to go wrong. Too many new bikes have too many gizmos. Post warranty ownership will become very expensive.

Had them on previous bike, would turn off too early. No good. Turn them off yourself. Twice if you want.

Well Wordy... looks like your next big trip is coming together. Might need a month this time. 👍

Superb write up Wordsmith...Looking forward to more photos.
Incidentally, on our uk news the other day, no more climbing the big red rock. Now that would make a great photo gt in foreground. 🤔

I wasn't happy charging from the bikes socket on the go so use a battery bank from tank bag.

I like the last picture best. Size is fine if comfy. Yes, get a rad gaurd.

Wonder what it looks like without the mudguard.???

I use top left handlebar clamp bolt, 2 or 3 washers so ball is raised allowing better movement. Ultimate addons s9 case. Detach phone in seconds for taking photos, sat nav (Waze) etc. I also got the 3 inch extension but don't use it, and is a pain in the arse to use, bolt too short and fall's apart. Good kit and recommended on here.

Summer screen / winter screen.

I'm sticking with standard, nice and quiet at home on idle but sings a great tune when ringing it's neck out and about.
Bw sounds good. Nice job.

No, floors solid but paint peeling. Good cheap fix. Warmer and softer than concrete.

I know mpg don't matter but I'm reckoning the dash figures on mine are bollox. It's about a 4 gallon tank, 18 L. 62 ampg would get me 240 odd miles, no chance. Maybe 200 on a lucky day. UK gallon.

I've been using acf50 for a few years now, some say apply 2 or 3 time's a year, others say after every wash, preventing rust starting and killing any already there. However, I do wonder if hot engines and header's are really worth it, as it all seems to burn off on start up. Maybe if storing for winter or laying up for a while might make better sense.
My bikes only got 1200 miles on it and the downpipes already look a mess. I do like the look when applied, even on plastics, but hot bits, I'm not too sure....or am I doing something wrong.???
Front fender extender seems to do f- - k all to help either.
Loving the bike tho.

What is there purpose.?

Howdy all, just picked up a brand new 2019 Tracer 900 and did a 500 mile trip over the weekend through Skyline Drive in Virginia and portions of MD/PA. Bike is amazing, a huge difference from my previous bike, a 1982 Honda CM450.
So now I am getting set to do the 600 mile service and notice what appears to be creases/cracks/irregularities(?) in the engine next to the oil window.
Does this look odd to you?
Anyone else have this?
I went to a different bike store near me to pick up yamalube and they had another new Tracer 900, which had similar markings as well, so I'm not sure what to make of it.
I'd have the dealer look at it, for peace of mind.
