I've read on the internet about the kawasaki rear shock mod for the MT09, wondered if it would also fit the Tracer but that Hayabusa shock compatibility is interesting too. Just to clarify (if adjuster is still posting on this forum), from what year's bike was the shock. Suzuki run hayabusa run as gen1 from 1999 until 2007, 2008 introduced the 2nd gen.

wonder if anyone knows if the GT rear shock could be installed on a 2015 Tracer 900?

Adjusting preload is difficult with the OEM shock too (2015 model). There's just not enough space to rotate the tool, I had to remove left rear passenger peg to make it (a bit) easier...

I wonder if the newer GT shock with the remote adjuster would be a direct fit?

Respect for the time and kms on the bike and for the detailed history of maintenance!

Hello guys,

new to the forum, just got my (used) 2015 Tracer. As I can't ride it yet, I'm modifying it to suit my style better.

One of the things I wanted was to make the rear part of the bike cleaner/slicker. I have seen some people removing passenger grab handles and I also have seen some remove also the side rails that hold the luggage racks. Problem is that both leave some ugly holes to cover. I've been searching for some proper plastic caps but with no luck, a local guy told me that he was given some from a auto spare part but couldn't be more specific.

Any insight would be appreciated, thanks!
