Hi There,
I planned on using the bag on my new bmw but it doesn't follow the lines of the gas tank as well as it did on my Tracer so I decided to order a new bag. Its in great shape and comes with a carry strap and rain cover. Looking for $130cdn shipping of course not included. Does NOT come with the gas tank ring unfortunately.

So far I’ve sold the hand guards, two flashers, saddle bags and the Akropovic. In comparison, the parts I’m looking at buying for my 1250RS are astronomical $$ priced on some online stores. Shopping was certainly easier for my 900GT to digest😳

pictures and further info on the bag liners?
I looked yesterday but they haven't popped up. Think its time to get the "big guns" looking. Hopefully my better half will have better luck 😛

Hi Norm,
When I see 'Sold, in the title of your listing it makes one think that there is nothing left to see?
Good Luck with the sale.
Thanks! I'll edit that out.........

Hi,
Have my MRA screen and 2 flashers (left side) to sell. It's in all in great shape and I found the screen a huge improvement over the OEM's excuse for wind protection. It has the light tint. I live in Quebec, Canada. All prices are in Canadian currency.
MRA tinted windshield- $150 negotiable
Flashers- $40 set
Cheers

Mine did that on my fz1. They replaced the seat as well but I had to pay for postage both ways and being from Canada cost me a tidy sum just the same. Another 6-7,000 later on the new seat and it happened again. I sold the bike so didn't care but I will not buy their products again. Poor quality Period!

Are you sure the seat wasn’t in the high position?
Well this is embarrassing🙈 Didn’t even cross my mind to check for that! Off to the stealer-ship I go!

I was disappointed to see how much taller I was sitting on the T9 compared to my 2019. I used to stand on the balls of my feet while at a stop on my 2019, which was doable. Unfortunately while shopping for the T9gt I was sitting in the showroom and my toes were stretched down starving for terra firma. I find it a deal breaker for me.

I have both of them. Ok, Tracer is not GT but it'll do it.
RS is far more torquier than Tracer. It is more stabile on fast bends, but less agile than Tracer on tight ones. Riding position on RS is sportier. Distance from pegs to the top of the seat is 5cm lower than Tracers! Fuel consumption and capacity is the same - 4l/100km, 18l.
Husqvarna 701 is a totally different story
Lucky guy!!
When you describe the RS as sportier are you referring to the more forward lean towards the bars? I used https://cycle-ergo.com/ to compare the two bikes and noticed the Tracer is definitely more a "sit-up" body stance then any other bike I've owned other then my GW.
I'm slightly concerned at the moment about the ergonomics of any bike honestly. Not sure how the broken hip is going to bother me when I am healed and get back on the "horse" which ever one I decide to pick up. The RS is definitely pushing on all the right buttons for now but I wouldn't hesitate to get another Tracer either..........

Thanks for all your insights🙏. Two weeks ago I had a “mishap” with my much loved Tracer and am on the mend with a broken left hip. Unfortunately my beloved bike also got twisted up and I received the call today that it is a total loss. All this at 20kph.

just wonder if you can share your opinion on the chain adjusters clones?

IMO the 5's are a GREAT tire. Haven't tried the 6 yet but after 15,000kms any tire will be squared off if not completely done by then. I consider myself quite aggressive and am always looking for the "curviest" roads on any of my tours.....

Two weeks after picking up my 2019 I was driving thru town and a cop car blew thru an intersection on a red light with no siren. The ABS saved my arse. It wasn’t pretty but the bike stayed up and I heard/felt the abs for the first time EVER! Not sure it would have ended the same way if I was on my first gen FZ1

How many help the younger riders with questions and not berate them for not knowing, being young or automatically dismissing them? How about inviting them over to work on their bike a bit?
I snuck out one day and bought a 500 Shadow at a garage sale of all things. In the end, I had no real interest in riding it as I had my Ninja that was too much fun to keep it parked. I did however give my 5 year old godson a ride on it one day. I know he's wearing shorts but the ride actually was less then 1 minute long. Little did I know that I planted the seed and 20 years later we would be riding together.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've had my Tracer for 2 seasons now and I love it. I traded my 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 for this bike. I haven't looked back since. I'm located in Quebec. We got some snow yesterday but the street are clear now….,,
Welcome aboard I’m in Laval, Quebec:)

I installed the full exhaust recently and am loving it. I am planning on sending my ecu out to get flashed during the winter but for now am just enjoying my bike. I came across a thread here that mentioned without the flash my bike can actually be down HP with the Akro? Does anybody have any hard data confirming this? My seat of pants feeling is not noticing any loss of HP so I am asking you guys....
cheers
