  1. Longest ever trip before Niken: 70miles. With Niken, 500 miles no problem, despite broken sacrum, coccys and wrists.
  2. I used a set of Pirellis diablo Rosso this hollydays and the result was amazing. They dont have the homologated speed or weigh Code in the front but It didn.t Mattered at all. The grip improve a lot and surprinsinly also the Endurance. It.s the first time a set of tyres survive my hollydays on any bike. The fronts are more rígid and i had to modify my settings. The rear grip is crazy as i.ve never had the Rev límiter enter so many times.
  3. Yes, i noticed that in Spain. But with the Niken, it.s good to be ignored and not to be the center of atention at least once or twice a day.
  4. I will never use the original tyres again. First set were ok, but the second one was rubish, specially the front ones. I looked like a car with oversteering problems in every corner, sliding the front everywhere feeling like Marc Marquez without his balls and talent. Not a good feeling. I got less than 2500 Km from both sets for ridding up and down all day in a very agresive tarmac during sumer time. Center of the tyre were like new in both sets when changed. I will try the Pirellis for the summer.
  5. In Spain oficial prices are 16349 euros for the Base model and 17399 for the GT. There are tons of demo bikes with very low miles for sale for arround 14.000 euros. Mine was 14000 in 2019. i´m paying 200 euros a month with no interest, 0 euros at the moment of delivery and the option to give it back to the dealer in 3 years. https://www.milanuncios.com/anuncios/yamaha-niken.htm?fromSearch=1&orden=caros
  6. Sportbike Kids doesn´t like being chaced by a Niken riden by an old and fat man either. It´s not the bike and the age to do those things, but it´s how i was born no matter the bike i buy to try behave as a normal human being.
  7. Ola Pelayo,

Welcome to the Niken forum! You're the first Niken owner on here from Spain! Am curious as to what kind of Niken forums they have in Spain and how many Niken owners there in Spain. Love your photos!

  8. Experieced a couple of times trying it on porpuse at low speed. Not something i want to sufer at hight because, apart for the lock, you start riding a bike with two wheels not following the same line. At that limit standar front tyres are oversteering a lot. To get that angles, the stabilizer bar under the muffler had to be removed, causing just a bit of vibrations but not afecting the balance.
  9. Lock front suspension and scratching the pegs in the floor here
