Thanks for this. I am planning to install a 40W LED light bar with an independent on-off switch and thinking of using the 2A-rated one. Is that sufficient, or should I use the 7.5A one?

Yes, exactly that - I am planning to install a 20W flood light with an 'on & off' independent switch, and if possible, connect to the high beam so it automatically switches on when on high beam. I was thinking I can piggyback on the connectors behind the windscreen.

Hi everyone, Has anyone tried attaching a switch with the auxiliary DC connector behind the screen, for example, to run with spotlights? Is it actually possible? Reason being that I am not too keen to attach a separate wire harness connecting directly to the battery since there are already connections available. Many thanks.

I feel like a doofus. Bought a used, original MT-09 exhaust system to replace my existing one, thinking it will fit the Sport Touring or Tracer/FJ-09 model but alas, that’s not the case. As you can see, the top left shows the MT-09 with a longer end exhaust connector, and the lower right shows the SP version with a stubbier end. I discovered my error when the exhaust couldn’t fit properly, with the end impinging against the centre stand. Is there no way I can salvage this situation? If not, any suggestions what I can use this spare exhaust for in the near future, perhaps to cut off the part where the box is and connect an aftermarket muffler? Many thanks.

Hi, after doing some maintenance to my bike and had assembled everything, I discovered a small white nylon flanged shoulder washer on the floor, which must have detached itself from an unknown part. Does anyone know what this does and where it goes to? Many thanks in advance. FYi - outer diameter is 20mm, inner dia 8 mm, 5 mm thick (see photos). I removed and reinstalled the windshield, the side fairings and the battery.
