Make sure to let us know how you like it after the install.

Got the kit installed tonight. This thing seems LEGIT!!! Didn’t get to go for a ride (hopefully tomorrow) but it seems to make a NOTICEABLE improvement to the seat slope.

I'd be willing to send a set to someone with a 15-17 to verify fitment for me.  Also for anyone with a Tracer 9 as the forward mount is different on the 9, if they could take detailed measurements for me, I'd also make a version for that.

I just shipped my first handful of orders of these yesterday and have a few more to ship out today.

Saw that kit on another thread and ordered one the other night. Can’t wait to try it. Had no idea you were a member here but should have figured.

It is a much too simple project to pay someone else to do it.  The switched aux. 12v plugs are right behind the instrument gauge waiting for you to use, just splice into one of them.

Here is a Garmin hardwire power cable.

Since I bought this bike I have not seen any reviews of the experience with a smaller windscreen. So I took a chance and got one, hoping to recreate my experience with my previous BMW S1000R. It comes close. The video review will drop on my YouTube channel on Sunday. 🙂

My next ride I’ll test out the Givi sport screen. Might try the MRA sport screen too.

  6. OK, so what the heck is up with this?

Went for my first real (I’ve been on night shift) ride yesterday with the MRA touring screen. Out of town, curves, hills, countryside, etc. First thought was, “Why is this so loud?” I could barely hear my music.

Decided to do some experimenting today and did the same ride with the stock screen. I’ll be damned if it wasn’t quieter. More turbulent, but quieter and it was easier to hear my music.

    ???

The mini-USB port on the Zumo will not reliably hold a cable while the bike is in motion, and you'll lose the water and dust protection by having the rubber flap open. I would not recommend doing this.

Good to know. I can’t believe how low the battery capacity is on the Zumo XT. 😔

With the shorts and flip flops and no helmet wouldn't you be more at home on a big litre sport bike?

    Love the t-shirt.

Oh, don’t worry, I brought all my gear just in case. My wife snuck this pic while I was test sitting on it on the dealership floor.

I got sick of the useless stock screen and all the turbulence and noise it created.

Fitted one designed for the MT10, it didn’t take much to modify it.

It splits the air beautifully and can’t get over how smooth the air flow is and how much quieter it is. I also think it’s the way the original should always have looked like.

I must admit, I much prefer bugs all over me than to put up with that badly designed stocker

    That looks really good!
