southernoregonduck Posted August 17, 2015 Share Posted August 17, 2015 Hi Gang! I am a proud new owner of a 2015 red FJ 09! I purchased the bike yestersday at Sublimity Power Sports outside of Salem, Oregon. Long drive (4 hours one way), but worth the trip. I recently sold a 2007 FJR and had money burning my pocket. For a couple of thousand more, I upgraded to a very impressive bike. Much lighter, eaiser to handle, and plenty of power. I currently own the FZ-07 and must say the FJ-09 is a completely different bike. Much stiffer suspension, more power on the top end, and lot of extra features. The Fz-07 is a fun bike to ride, but the FJ-09 is much for versitle. The FZ-07 is now up for sale. I am looking forward to finishing the engine break-in so that I can really use the bike to its full potential.
