sidolsen Posted September 16, 2015 Share Posted September 16, 2015 Hi all. I actually joined the forum back in June. However I didn't get time to pick up a bike until this past Sunday. I now have 2- 200 mile break in runs on her. (It would be 3 but it rained all day yesterday). I was wondering if the turbulent ride was just me but having taken a peak at the windshield thread I see that Yamaha went for style over function. That will be my first investment. Looking like the windshield choice is going to have a lot to do with your height and how much form you are willing to give up for function. The windshield is definitely the weakest point of the bike, and was unbearably noisy for me so it got turfed as fast as possible.
