Premium Member johan Posted January 14, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted January 14, 2016 My Tracer had its first hiccup today (10,000 miles). A fellow biker alerted me that my brake light did not light up as I slowed down entering the Blackwall tunnel (at first I thought it might have been just engine braking, but a test confirmed that the rear brake pedal did not activate the brake light). Some WD40 and and a quick adjustment of the switch later it works again. Probably worthwhile checking operation every now and again, especially on wet, muddy roads in winter. The plastic adjusting nut is awkward to reach with a spanner, but after some persuasion I was able to turn it with my fingers.
Premium Member wessie Posted January 14, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted January 14, 2016 Fúcking unreliable, piece of shit Yamaha bikes. Should've used the front brake on the way to work tomorrow and called RAC Yamaha Assist to fix it whilst you drink coffee and eat croissant in the office.
