mas Posted June 24, 2016 Share Posted June 24, 2016 National Cycle VStream Tall Touring Windscreen Resonance: Just purchased it, installed it, rode with it and noticed on the highway that there is less resonance/buffeting from the windshield @ 60 mph in 5th gear than 6th. Tall windshield, windshield component design, engine harmonics, slightly loose chain or whatever but what a significant reduction in resonance by dropping from 6th to 5th gear at 60mph. Got back home, removed windshield, aligned and retightened all hardware and the same result. I am 5 feet 11 inches, 31 inch inseam with a longish torso and get buffeting on the top of my helmet with this windshield. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jdonn Posted June 24, 2016 Share Posted June 24, 2016 I took off my hand guards and noticed a massive improvement. I am also 5'11"... Try putting the windshield at the middle position and wear ear plugs. Other then the fact that the screen seems to force wind directly on the top of my hands, I love the v-stream compared to stock...
