Question About Image Size

I posted a photo on the site that was just under the 1-MB limit, but it looks really small on the screen.
 
I've checked other photos on the site that are only 110 kb or similarly sized, and they display much larger.
 
Is there some way to size or resize the images when they're uploaded?

Are you speaking to the MacBridge picture? Natively, it appears to be about 60k and 240x320 pixels. Pretty small.  That being said, when you click on "Add image to post", the pop-up window does allow for size selection in the top drop-down.
