norcal616
please try to ask all questions on this thread so others may get an answer they need... I have had the FZ-07 for 3yrs now, the FJ-09 is only 1yr old to me...the FJ-09 is my favorite to go bike and the FZ-07 still gets its turn a few times a month... 2012 wr250f - C-class 30+ age group 2015 fz-07- Hordpower Edition-80whp 2015 fj-09- Graves Exhaust w/Woolich tune by 2WDW @120whp
leonardlloyd
How would you compare engine character, twin vs triple?
norcal616
twin- instant linear TQ feeling majority of the time...busy buzzy feeling at highway speeds due to 270° firing order...sounds like an exotic V8... majority of power feeling is low to low mid high rpms triple- cant really feel the TQ if you just rode an FZ-07 so the next thing you know your at 100mph...smooth engine feeling till around 7k rpms you feel the engine pull like an I4, very quick to rev...using aftermarket LaunchControl can addicting, just the right blend instant shit eating grin feeling...the sound is anghelic with the Graves Exhaus even with the baffle in...power feeling is low- mid rpms and up...this is the same motor in the FZ-09, but due to the FJ extra weight it kinda tones down the rowdyness of the motor... 2012 wr250f - C-class 30+ age group 2015 fz-07- Hordpower Edition-80whp 2015 fj-09- Graves Exhaust w/Woolich tune by 2WDW @120whp
