TOUCH-UP PAINTS

An FAQ on forums such as this is [em]“what touch-up paint can I get to erase some small nicks and scratches in the[/em] [em]paintwork”.[/em]   We all get them, in time…

I have found that hobbyists'/ modellers’ shops stock TAMIYA brand paints for finishing plastic models of ships, aircraft, etc., in a vast range of colours.

The colours are in acrylic or enamel, and gloss and matt finishes are available.

I’m quite sure that when the time comes I’ll be able to find a Matte Anthracite (or some such name) to suit my Matte Grey (Gray) Tracer, and equally sure that a Lava Red match is also available in the TAMIYA range.

The tiny glass bottles are only 10ml in capacity, and cost about $4 - $5 each.   You wouldn't use them to effect a major cover-up, but for those inevitable tiny wounds they are invaluable.

Tamiya Lawrence. You model gentleman!
Sorry, Tracer - I've edited my post! I must have had ABBA on my mind ([em]"Mama-mia"...[/em] etc)! Tamiya it is.
