  1. Just completed 700km ride 11th and 12th March 50,100 km, March 2015 purchase No issues a fantastic machine ,love it!
  2. I had the same problem but a easy fix is to place a band aid around the usb adapter above the contacts. It makes the fit much tighter and after I had done this have not had a problem with it vibrating loose.
  3. Hi Berg yes another Kiwi, pleased you enjoyed our south Island are you from up north ? I guess I should check the members map and see.The Tracer is a fantastic machine I've just clocked 12,500 km on mine after trading my 2008 R1 in on it after hip replacement surgery made it to difficult to ride comfortably. IMHO the Tracer is in fact more fun to ride on the road compared to the R1 as you can actually utilise more of its capabilities in every day riding. I'm heading over to the West Coast at Christmas to visit my son so looking forward to doing a few hundred km's on some of the most exciting and vehicle free roads IMHO on the planet. We will have to touch base some where on our travels cheers and take care.check out my video Tracer hill run in the pic and video section
  4. I'm from Southbridge out of Christchurch South Island New Zealand another motorcycle piece of heaven
  5. Hi guys well I average 600kms per week in all road conditions and can tell you that after 42yrs of riding all sorts of high performance bikes the dunlop d222 do not cut the mustard in all round riding conditions they are fine in hot dry conditions but the moment there is any sort of moisture or cold slick road conditions they are hopeless millage compared to PR3 or PR4 there is no comparison on my last bike 2008r1 I achieved 15500 km on PR3S and they never let me down remember that there was no tc or abs on that model to compensate for over exuberance either. The cost difference is more than worth it for the piece of mind .
  6. Hi guys I got 8,500kms out of the horrible D222 rear tyre replaced it with my favourite PR4s as mentioned in other posts the front tyre still looks like new and I have just clocked 10,500km since purchasing bike at the end of March. The PR4 has totally changed the feel of the bike inspiring heaps more confidience compaired with standard factory offerings, here in New Zealand we do have a varity of road surfaces.
