oops just got your message sorry for the late reply, I didn't have any problems fitting the hand guards, can you clarify the link to the oil filter?? O_o (I guess you're all sorted now tho') Sorry, this post is aimed at 'chillpons'
Gonna replace the plugs on mine soon, is it easy to remove the tank? Do you disconnect everything and completely remove it or just enough things to rest it to one side? TIA
Took an hour to do the cct, thought that cost was b*****ks, gave me a quote for 12k/2yr service which was TFD as well so they won't be doing that either ?
Today I had my second cct fitted, supposedly this one will do the trick permanently, let's hope so. The service guy said if I was paying full retail it was a £600 job ?luckily it's still under warranty, new one has a red dot mark on it.
Straight forward to fit, you do use the end weights supplied (I only used one as I have a Kaoko cruise fitted) I'd post a photo but haven't a clue on such things lol :-/
I fitted these last weekend http://www.barkbusters.net/products/spare-parts-other-products/4922-LED-002 & http://www.barkbusters.net/what-fits-my/yamaha/mt09-tracer-2014-on/storm/two-point-mount offered great protection in the rain leaving Silverstone Moto GP this weekend
How'd the other 1/2 find them? Are they an improvement over the stock pegs? She's not been out on it yet it's still a bit 'cold' for her but she sat on it in the garage and it seems they make a big difference despite it only being 40mm. Suppose she'll want a 40mm extension for me too lol
This weekend I fitted these https://calsport.co.uk/yamaha-mt09-tracer-2015/gilles-controls/gilles-adjustable-footrests/RGK-520-A30-40-B/ to keep Doris happy
