  1. I was also deciding between sport touring and supersport tires (T31 and S21). Since I don't put as much milage on the Tracer as I used to, I decided to trade mileage/wet grip for traction and installed the S21. Had a quick run on a familiar road on a dry day and immediately felt that the S21 turned in much sharper and had more dry grip than the T series I used to run. The bike also feels more agile as the carcass is lighter than the T series. I did like the longivety and wet weather performance on the T series which the traction remains pretty good even after 17000km (only true for the T30 evo, the predesessor T30's traction would deteriorate noticibly with around 13000km).
  2. I have the Sidi Apex mid-length road boot/Sidi Adventure Gore and the Dianese Fulcrum C2 Goretex. I would rate them in order of decreasing comfort on the Tracer as follows: Dianese Fulcrum>Sidi Apex>Sidi Adventure Gore Dianese is my go-to boot when I want all day on/off bike comfort and bad weather protection. It is very flexible and it breaths very well due to its all leather construction; however it protective feature is quite minimal compare to other full length boot.
  3. Speaking of ABS, I have not ridden any ABS equipped bike before the Tracer. I once had the back brake ABS activated and it was reacting so hard that it gave off a loud clink sound and sprung my foot off the brake pedal! To be honest, the feeling was worst then a rear tire skip and it doesn't feel normal for me. Having said that, is that suppose to be the "pulsating" ABS feel people refer to?
  4. I stumble upon a youtube video about disabling the ABS on MT-09 by simply removing a fuse.
  5. Yes, they are. Also double as fuel overflow hose, found out the hard way at the gas station last week.
  6. added GB racing engine protector and sw-motech frame slider
