I got this one when mine died
https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bike-master-lithium-ion-battery-dlfp-12-bs
It’s cheaper than the factory replacement and LIGHT. I mean crazy light. When the package arrived I picked it up and thought that they sent me an empty box.

Yes Mt Rainier. It was beautiful. The South American tourists almost ran me over though. I parked and as I was getting off the bike they came flying into the lot and boxed me in. A big van on both sides then one in the middle that almost got me.
Yes, next FJ close to a fire truck.

I’m not kidding when I say this.... you are my hero and when I grow up (retire) I want to be like you.

Well, you’ll never be able to tell the wife you were late because you got lost.Heading out on a trip the end of next week. Trying to set up the cockpit. I've never used a GPS on a bike. I'm a paper map guy and just use my phone and Google maps at the end of the day to find lodging food and drinks. -
Next time! Where are you located?Yep.
Ocoee.

Except for me.... I was gassin up when you came out of the store. I thought you went over by the car wash and parked but when I finished and went over there y’all were gone. I went over to Robbinsville, 129, and th south foothills parkway from there. The fog made it sketchy on top in a few places.
Aw dang! Yeah probably, I was the only FJ around that weekend!I think I saw you at the Exxon in Tellico. You took off before I got gassed up and could say hello. -

I’ve always used DID. Always got good life from m them. I used an EK once but sold the bike before I put to many miles on the chain. I do like EK’s screw type masterlink.

I didn't remove the tank to run the wiring. I removed the right side panel that likes to crack and ran the wiring along the frame. It's worked fine for two years.

I used a little relay triggered by the tag light to power mine. It came out of a wrecked ford truck in the junkyard. It fits between my he battery and it’s foam spacer.

Just remember to have someone push on the rear brake pedal when applying torque to the drive sprocket nut.
You can reach over and apply the brake with one hand and torque the nut with the other.

I’ve got the 665 (I thing that’s what it is... or 660). It’s has all those extra wires. I just bundled them together under the seat. They’ve been under there for two years now. No problems.

Yesterday, I rode the Skyway, the dragon, and the southern end of foothills parkway. There was fog so thick I cut off a piece and had a bite. Snow and ice. Rain and lightning. I was all alone on these great roads... except for a guy in a Porsche for a couple of minuets. It. Was. Fantastic.
Today I'm going to clean her up and lube the chain. She got rode hard and put up wet and that's the way I like it.

Hi, I just got a Sargent Seat for my FJ 2016. Took about 3 weeks ... yet finally got it. I tested it for a short ride, about 45 mins, one hour. I did not felt big difference vs the stock one... got a bit surprised. I'm 1,91 mts, 130 Kgs ... body weight I assume is a factor, on seat performance / perception; for the $ I payed I expected more indeed... I read great reviews on this one, compared with the uncomfortable stock seat that for long rides is not good, compared to the Sargent one.
The seat instruction says that it might need an "adaptation" time... I assume to have the body mold a bit? I'll test it today on a 3 hour ride and check if it improves...
Put some more miles on it. Those are like kilometers but bigger. My Sargent seat is a much better seat than the oem. It will take some time to break in. Heck, the day I got it I took a 600 mile ride. I have 30,000 miles on mine and think it’s my best after market part.

I like it. It’s been with me for about 2 years and 20,000 plus miles.
I tried adjusting the ring on the bottom, but no dice. I talked to the Revzilla people, and they're going to try and warranty it for me, which if yours is on straight I'd be pretty happy about that. I really like the size of the bag.I’ve got that bag. Mine line up straight. You have some adjustment on the bottom. See if the holes in the brackets are straight. -
Received a GIVI XS307 tank bag from Revzilla. Pretty nice bag, but it doesn't seem to line up straight, and that bothers me more than it maybe should. Probably going back.

I put an O-ring around my 12v phone charger. It stays firmly in the socket and charges my phone fine.

I washed it. Got dirty riding 129 yesterday. Had the dragon all to myself on a Thursday. In February. At 8 in the morning. Life is good.

How are you able to cruise at 2500rpm in 6th gear? Is that even possible? I think the only time I am at 2500rpm is taking off from a stop in 1st gear.I'm interested to see what affect the Black Widow has on performance and ride-ability. I've heard some folks say there's a big dip in power and torque at 2500rpm, which is particularly noticeable in 6th gear when cruising.
Down a very steep hill maybe?

What, she doesn’t like the weather.......oh crap. Sorry about that.

Did you opt for something fancy (light etc.), or just an OE/equivalent?My bike is a 15. It was a stock battery. I bought it New in April of 16.
I got a lithium. It was $14 more than the factory YZT10S. The difference in weight is crazy, but I didn’t buy it for that. If I was worried about weight I would start with losing some of my fat behind. I bought it because it was just a little more and I’ve heard that the lithium last longer. Guess we will see.
