Check the crankcase breather system.
if you/someone has had the airbox off lately, then the hose which runs between the valve cover and the airbox is possibly not run correctly.oil seals shouldn’t just blow out of the case for no good reason….

The airbox hasn't been removed in the last few weeks, certainly not during this trip.
I will have a look and check the hoses between the airbox and the valve cover.
Thanks for the advise.

It runs smoothly and doesn't burn any oil.
It happened for no reason when riding on the highway doing 110km/h.

Loosen off clutch cable, remove circlip and you should be able to remove the washer, lever and spring, then can get at the seal........ best refer to parts diagram as the service manual isn't all that specific.
Thanks for the advise. I have an overview out of the parts diagram.
Seal has been ordered, hopefully it will be here before the weekend.

If you remove the circlip, arm and spring is it possible to take a deep socket and press the oil seal back down evenly?
I have pressed it back, but after a few (highway) miles, it popped out again. I think i need to replace it.

During a trip to Germany i noticed the right side of my Tracer was cover with some fluid. I thought it was some petrol i spilled, but after some investigation i was the oil seal at the clutch axle which came out.
Has anyone here happened to experience this before?
If i order a new oil seal, is this a repair i can do myself? Does the clutchcover needs to come off, or can the seal be replaced by only removing the clutchlever/spring/washers?

Look underneath the rear wheel... see that Pit Bull Tire wedge? Make rear tire changes a breeze, no more raising the rear wheel with a foot to align/slide in the rear axle.
Never knew this excisted. Seem like a handy tool.

Springtime bloom of tire nubbies! 🔥 🔥 🔥
These Bridgestone T32R BattleAx tires are just spectacular in every way. The 165hp S1000XR still managed over 6000 miles on these tires, I should do much better on the Tracer.
Glad I got this chain business out of the way before serious riding starts next month:
Why do you use an additional padockstand, when you have the center stand on the bike?

You sent me on a research project, because the term "RVS" is not common in USA... and I see you are from Netherlands. RVS stands for "Roestvrij staal" (stainless steel)
Stainless steel is what i meant. Could not find the correct word for it. Now i remember again, thanks.

By the look of the plug I think it will work also for a 15 FJ09 and on too.
It appears I have the same power powerport but it didn't come with the harness with matching plug so I made my own connector that fit inside the OEM connector and it's worked well well for 15000 plus miles
It will work on a 2015 FJ-09, I own a 2015 FJ as well.

Hi,
I just orderd ONE OF THIS and this one has the correct connector for the bike. I placed it on the rightside next to the dash. I had to make the hole a bit bigger, so it fits.

I also have an replacement seat of TopSellerie and it fits well. No problems at all. Mine is placed on a 2015 MT09 Tracer.

This is what I used on my Tracer 900 GT - not dim at all.
Sequential/Dynamic LED indicators for Yamaha Tracer 900 (2018 - 2020)
This pair of LED indicators featuring high visibility scrolling light will...I have the same ones on my Tracy. Looks beter then the original ones, and they are a lot brighter then the bulb indicators.
I only replaced the blinker relais for one that is suitable for LED blinkers. Didn't want to put in the resistors that came with the blinkers.

I have the same screen on my Tracer, and the beak in the box. Have mounted it for a while, and now it is off again. Still not sure if i should put it on, or leave it off.

I recently purchased an TopSellerie Seat. It is a great seat, and a big improvemant compared to the original seat.
They have a seat configurator, which allows you to configure your seat to your own wishes (gel, heating, stiching collor, edings, choice of materials, etc....)
They don't have any resellers in the US, but you probably con order through the website. Worth a try?

I don't Amy crashbars mounted on Tracy. I want to use the mountingpoints where the crashpads are installed, the bolts in the frame of the bike itself.
I don't knie of there are Amy highwaysteps which can be mounted on those points.

Couldn't it be just wear of the seal?
I will take of the tank and airbox tonight to check the hose for blockage.
