I do mine 2/3 times a year, depends on bike use i suppose.

I only use torque wrench on Axles, thats about it. Screwing bolt's into casings, calipers etc is best done by feel, ime. 👍

Yep, ACF 50 is the way to go. Nice fine spray is best so put bottle/aerosol in hot water for a few minutes to thin it. I know some who use it with a compressor. OK on all metals, doesn't hurt plastics if you get it on any. Keep off brakes and rubber. 👍

I keep this with my little electric pump and works great. Just connect to my battery charging lead, very handy.
I've got the old Tm connector, Sae is the newer. My charger must be 20 years old. 😁

Yes, I used plasti dip. I've since re done them again as white was showing, put plenty of coats on and all good. 👍

I've got a short puig screen in smoke, but it ain't that smoky. I'd go black.

I'd go with the 2016. It's got all you need and is cheapest. Have it. 👍

Prices in the UK...
Brand new 2020 gt £9800
Brand new 2021 gt £11995 ( new model )

Imo... the looks, extra expense of ownership and extra weight massively outweigh the gains of front end grip. Having said that, some folk think their Great, Good luck to them. 👍

Acf50 should be all you need. The paint/plastics should look after themselves or maybe a wax polish. Keep chain lubed. Job done. 👍

Have it. 👍

Nice pic, hope you get it sorted. 👍

I've always used wd40. Short spray directly onto rim and wipe with cloth. Job done. But ye, there's plenty of other stuff, aerosol is just convenient. 👍

Dayum, I'm looking at doing something similar. Seeing theres a couple of Honda and Kawi offerings coming real soon. What model and year is yours? Just trying to learn as much as I can. Thks
2019 crf 250L. Light, button start, hopefully reliable. Something to play on during the winter months. If I drop it, it dont matter. The rally has more plastics and a screen, maybe looks more adventure than the L. I would have gone for either.
I will also be doing the "green lanes" and there's plenty not too far away. Some are only rough tracks but as long as there open to all traffic, it good to go 👍

Is it really necessary to carry a full socket set. ? 😉

So so true, I feel that on a bike the journey is just as important as the destination probably more important if your only out for the run.
For me, the riding is everything. If it's just about getting somewhere, I'll go in the car. 👍

Anyone know if the Tracer runs "dry" or does it stop with fuel in tank. I've seen 198 miles on clock and was surprised how much I didn't get in. iykwim.

I smear copperslip on the axle.

Installed my Gerbing heated gear plug. Not crazy about the look of the location but it works and is out of my way when sitting on the bike. Winter officially starts here Monday. Put the Yamaha touring windscreen on it as well. Hate the look of the thing but it does the intended job, keep the wind off me. Cleaned up the chain real good.
On the fence about my tail bag on the rear seat. I think I need to order the SW Motech tail rack and move it there. Just hate adding a few more lbs for a tail rack that will replace the cool passenger grab bars I kinda like to use when moving the bike around.
Think those bags look neat and tidy. 👍
