  1. Already on order. What did you get? Did they fit well?
  2. Sweet. Have a part number for the R3 pivot arm? And I have not done it yet. I assume all I have to do is remove the upper retaining clip to get the actuator arm off?
  3. I too am of the opinion that the clutch grab point is not soon enough and I have to let the handle out to far before it grabs. I find myself over revving at take off sometimes. Its odd that this is the first bike out of many that I could not get the adjustment 'perfect' for me. I am wondering tho if rotating the clutch actuator arm 1 tooth would help? It seems that in my case and others, when we get the clutch adjusted to our liking we have to much play in the clutch handle. Wouldn't rotating the arm 1 tooth take up that slack? Or am I thinking in circles?
  4. Cool. So the egg shaped hole is the same on all years. Thanks. 👍
  5. Searching for signals and finding less options for 2019 and above. Are the turn signals from previous years the same as current models? Any reason I could not use signals from a 2017 FJ-09 or similar?
  6. Santa Rosa. Not planning a major tour yet but when I am down that way will hit ya up. Got the tail tidy on today and fixed the mirrors with this bad boy.
  7. Lol! I know. But I dont have access to the proper equipment right now. Monday it shall be correct. Put an additional 200 miles on her today. Lots of twisties. One thing I noticed with this beast compared to what I had before this. (ninja 650) I have to hang on tight when going through the gears. The upright position is something to get use to. First through fourth on this bike requires me to hang on tight lol.
  8. Sounds like the mirrors are a common issue but fairly simple to resolve. I saw one post where he drilled it out and put a pin in it. Sort of like a cotter key. This is my current solution. Wire ties to the rescue!
  9. Thats what up with my mirrors. Think I will pull the nut off, put in a star washer then put the nut back on with some loctite.
  10. I like creamed asparagus.

  11. Scorpion it is!. My mirrors dont move at the base. I tried messing with the lower nut but it does not help in my case. Thanks for the throttle cable suggestion. 👍 I will look at that. I do want to set the suspension. Is there a suggested setting for a 200 pound guy like me with no luggage? I looked at the rear shock and its set right in the middle right now. I know its best to sit on the bike and measure but a quick and dirty until I do that would be cool.
  12. Not a GT. Does it matter if its a GT or not with a tail tidy? I plan on adding side bags at some point and dont want to run into issues. Regarding the twitchy throttle. Maybe I just need to get use to it. Been reading alot on the forums lately and it came up quite a bit. If its not a simple fix then I will do nothing and wait for the ecu tune. Speaking of ecu tune. Who is the "go to" company for the ecu tune?
  13. Well her she is!. Picked her up today. Drove it home and adjusted the clutch first thing as it did not engage till almost full extension. Then took her out for an 2 hour ride to get a good feel. Love it. Motor pulls so well from start to redline. Handles nice. Feels great. So happy. Next up some customization. First in line is a tail tidy. Then switch out the front pumpkin blinkers for something flush maybe. This winter will come slip on and ecu tune. Couple of things I want need to fix quick like. The mirrors do not stay in place. Sounds like I have to grind down a 10mm socket to get it to fit up top to tighten the nut? Or does anyone have a better solution? Second is the twitchy throttle. Been reading up and I came across a thread about rotating something under the seat 1/16 inch. But cant find it. Anyone know what that is and is it the correct fix? Other suggestions? Other than that she feels great and I cant wait to get out and put some miles on her.
  14. Been riding all my life. Most likely gonna purchase a 2019 tracer in the next few days. :) Wanted to say hey and I will most likely have some questions. Lots of reading to do in the mean time. Looking forward to some good rides and gaining some knowledge here.
