While searching for a cheaper option for 60cc 183g Co2 canisters I came accross the $84 Air Bag vests available online? They look like Helite copies and some sellers include 3 x Co2 canisters that often sell for $30 each. I'm sure the quality of the vests are suspect, and one would wonder if they would hold air on impact. Regardless at $84 they are tempting.

The MT-09 entered its fourth generation for 2024, with a redesign of various aesthetic pieces such as the front screen, fuel tank, and tail section, mostly with a redirection back towards something like the 2020 MT-09 after the cyclops styling of the 2021 version proved somewhat unpopular. Additionally, the redesign of the fuel tank includes some acoustic ducting to improve the bike’s sound, even if the 890cc CP3 engine remains unchanged. Of course, the new tank has ergonomic impacts, too, with the intention being to create a freer riding position.

I have the Neotec 2 and while I like the fit I find it noisy. Especially the top vent, it causes a boom. Maybe it's related to my screen? I wouldn't consider it light either but it is well balanced. I don't think I would buy another, even at the discounted rate. I do like the rachet strap, hated fumbling with the D rings on my old lid.

I thought the Neotec 3 might fix the weight and 'Boom' but after seeing the review by RevZilla I'm not really interested.

Slight changes, Heavier, $100 more, USA version is only DOT approved and not ECE.

In previous models guys had many problems trying to tap inte the headlamp to add aux lighting. Not sure if later years are the same? You can search the forum for that. here is a place to start...
