Yup hard to go wrong with the Motech or Givi tank lock systems.
-
Givi tanklock system and bags, I'll NEVER go back to straps or magnet bags.

A few HUNDRED threads... enough that the forum has its own sub-section just for "windshields'.
Yeah I was just being friendly.

I personally like the offerings from Sena, 3 of my main riding buds just switched to Cardo from their Sena's......they "somewhat" regret it.

Few really good threads already about this, good luck with your quest.

I rode my new to me 2019 Tracer GT and started with my AirHawk......I removed it after 20 miles because of the floaty feel of the AirHawk. I have two layers of a yoga mat and a Sterns ATV covering the stock seat which made for a decent ride (waiting on the seat bracket that has been ordered). I rode for 150 miles on a perfect day in Southern IL and MO......I really like the Tracer GT. It complements my Super Tenere and Tenere 700 in a great way.
I would slip the AirHawk on for the drag of a ride across Kansas enroute Colorado.👍
Sounds like you had too much air in the Airhawk, there should be very little at all......should not ever have a floaty feeling.

Love my Aerostich Darien light, totally waterproof and flows more air than you would expect it to.
-
Love my AD1 britches, once they break in they are amazing......no easier overpants to get on/off either other than perhaps the Darien.

Disagree there. Yamaha’s Xvs650 is the worst driveshaft/diff in the world. Constant issues with howling stripped splines etc. Almost impossible to find a second hand shaft drive here.
FJR and Super Tenere shaft systems are pretty much reliable as an anvil, same goes for the V-Max.

Lee Parks deerskin gloves for me, literally fit like a glove and dry out and still remain soft when soaked.

If I EVER need a motor with that much displacement, I'm choosing the Triumph Rocket III.
I'd go with Ducati Diavel.

Currently ride with a Nolan X-Lite and a Scorpion AT950, must say I'm quite the fan of both.....in particular that Scorpion.

Well I have to figure this out one way or another, as this is gonna be my long distance touring machine.

What's wrong with you? First you're ok with the suspension now you're ok with the seat. What's next - you like the stock windscreen? Don't you know that a motorcycle is only as good as its mods? 😋
I know right? LOL Nah I am sure that in time I will upgrade the seat and for sure the windshield, but "so far" this is the best off the showroom floor bike I've ever owned.

That stock seat is pretty much a POS anyway for any amount of time in the saddle at all. About 150 miles today and my ass was numb. I may try an Airhawk to see if that helps.
Seems to be one of the better stock seats I've ever ridden on or owned, not bad at all with my Sheepskin pad on it either. Butts are very subjective of course, but IMHO it is far from sucking.

Mine is doing it for sure, I'll get it figured out one way or another. Zero issues riding any where else at any speed, but something going on when dirty turbulent air is in front of me on the slab in traffic.
-
Haven't noticed a slope, seems pretty normal to me.
-
After a brisk freeway blast today at 65 mph to 75 mph, I am a bit irritated as mine is having this phenomena. If I am pretty much away from any traffic in front of me the front end is stable, but add some cars/trucks and in particular some big rigs.....and I feel quite the instability and hunting of the front suspension due to turbulent air. It's honestly enough to concern me, in particular if the roads were wet and in the rain. Set my suspension setting per Dave Moss "he and I are about the same size", so it looks like I have perhaps some more adjustments to make or try another windscreen. So weird.....I have NEVER had a bike do this, and I have owned more than a few.
-
Safe to say that we could all be getting bad or assumed information, regardless I am tickled to death with my 2020.

I just set my suspension adjustments per Dave Moss on the Tracer, will let y'all know what I think after my ride. I am about the same size and weight of Dave, but I'm sure I will need a new rear unit in time since the preload is at the max of stroke now.

Roger that.....new oil and filter will be done around 600, thanks for the advice.

No changes except for color in 21.....per the sales manager at my dealership.

Thoughts on not changing oil/filter at 600, I mean I'm not really that concerned about such a thing these days? I am debating just riding till about 1000 miles or so, and no I am not starting an oil thread. LOL

I've always gone with the aluminum tape for that, but yeah good quality electrical tape like from 3M works as well.
