Need Shop Recommendation, Southern NH

Anyone know of a reliable independent or dealer service shop to do a valve adjust on my FJ 09?

I am in Portsmouth NH and local options do not  inspire confidence.

You might have better luck in the regional forums on advrider. It’s got a wider audience, with it not being brand/model specific.

I ended up taking bike to Moms in Manchester NH.  I’ll post here how things turn out.

estimate is $1k minus 20% ($800)  for valve adj, TB sync, new NGK plugs and OEM air filter.

I asked tech to provide  a before and after valve measurement table.

Got bike back from Moms and to my surprise they said no valves were out of spec.  I was really shocked. But the dealer passed up $400 in service revenue by not reshimming.

His claim was if they don’t need it we don’t do it. The tech gave me a write up of each valve and its clearance.  They also gave me the old plugs and air filter which were pretty beat.

The bike is running noticeably smoother after plug change and TB sync.

So I am prettier happy with Moms service and will use them again when the time comes.
