pnobels
I bought these. Can't be fitted on at least a European MT-09 Tracer. Of one part, two holes are not big enough to use bolts which fit in the alternator box. Will be contacting the ebay seller. Perhaps they do work on an overseas model? docsimple
actually they fit OK. Just the plastic in the left side does not fit right. They claimed they sent a replacement puck but I have yet to see it. 2015 Red FJ 09 2013 WR250R - little boy blue - sold 2012 DL650 V Strom - sold 2007 FZ6 - sold 1986 FJ600 - sold
docsimple
and, of course, the new puck with new bolts arrived today. I'll follow up when I get it on the bike. Prolly this weekend. 2015 Red FJ 09 2013 WR250R - little boy blue - sold 2012 DL650 V Strom - sold 2007 FZ6 - sold 1986 FJ600 - sold
pnobels
Had a look again tonight. Figured out how it works now. Basically on the alternator side only two bolt are screwed into the alternator cap. The other two smaller bolts just screw against the cutout of the other two remaining bolts. Hmm... Not the nicest solution... Anyway... Added some pictures to my Flickr album.
docsimple
Mine still fits wonky but yes the design nests the bolts. Im thinking of replacing the supplied ones with hardened steel. 2015 Red FJ 09 2013 WR250R - little boy blue - sold 2012 DL650 V Strom - sold 2007 FZ6 - sold 1986 FJ600 - sold
pattonme
I got these for the FZ. Can't imagine why they wouldn't work on the FJ http://www.ebay.com/itm/271994070821
fattraxx
I went with the T-Rex ones listed on eBay for the FZ. T-Rex said they would fit the FJ. I've got OES frame sliders on the bike now. Had a careless drive knock my bike over into the left side and the engine case hit the ground before the slider did. These T-Rex covers will hide the damaged area and help in the event it happens again.
