weinman123 Posted December 3, 2015 Share Posted December 3, 2015 bought mine as a first bike as a 50 y.o. rider with minimal experience. reasons: ABS, TC, weighs same or not much more than the "starter" bikes. I ran B mode for about a week, then switched to std mode and haven't touched it since. got it 9/1 and have over 1300 miles on it and have averaged just over 50 mpg. freebooter Posted December 8, 2015 Share Posted December 8, 2015 I went since 2002 without riding. Then a couple years ag hot a 1979 Triumph 750. Then went all out n got an FJ-09 in May and tI love it. It is piwerful, etc but handles well. The only thing I hate is the seat. I go to hurting after an hour or two.
