rockinsv Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 I was wondering, if I was to get an exhaust like a Akrapovic or Arrow would I need to do an ECU flash right away, would it hurt anything, or could I save the flash for in the winter when I don't mind having my bike tore apart for a while? yamahafjrider Posted May 24, 2016 Share Posted May 24, 2016 I have the Arrow X-Cone exhaust. It works just fine with the stock flash and the baffle installed. Flashing the ECU and removing the baffle makes a huge difference when you are ready. Don't forget the block off plates. Hope this helps.
