partypat
Riding my bike home from work (APE at Willow Springs) at 5pm last night it was 104F when I left and 96F when I got home (Tehachapi). My ride is a nearly steady climb from 2000ft to 5000ft over 30 miles and speeds are 65-75 mph normally. I never saw the cylinder head temp gauge exceed 182F and most of the time it was below that. I don't think you will have issues with overheating (the bike, not you). Ride safe! Pat
chamelion
Rode 6 hours in 113F heat, no problem.
mainjet
My recently purchased 2015 seems to run hot too. 223f is highest I've seen. I live at 8400ft elevation so most of my riding is at altitude. Makes me think I'll try some synth oil when I change next.
3banger
Handled the heat just fine, saw 113 ambient in Baker and the highest I saw was 222 coolant rolling into the gas station. Thanks for the feed back prior to my desert crossing at worst possible time of the year.
