yamahafjrider
Last night I was adding up the things bought for the FJ-09 and my wish list. I have come to the conclusion, it's possible to spend more for add on's than you spent on the bike. I am well on my way. Kurt
mattemike
Close to $9K for mods? You've got mod fever worse than I do.
yamahafjrider
Bags $1,000. Suspension $2,000. Exhaust $1,100. Then start thinking about seat, rear rack, T box, guards, new windshield and other goodies or "farkels". This could easily go over $7,000. What are your thoughts? Premium Member jimf Posted April 13, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted April 13, 2015 I've managed about $3000 in acessories too - $1000 right off for the luggage, another $1000 for frame sliders, clutch/stator protection and a belly pan, $200 for a rear rack, $280 for heated grips, $105 for a windscreen, $200 for a tankbag, and $225 for adjustable levers. I will just have to amortize the hell out of it by riding the thing a long way. :-) 2015 FJ-09 (Mary Kate) 2007 Daytona 675 (Tabitha, ret.) 1998 Vulcan 800 (Ret.) 2001 SV650S (Veronica, Ret.) 2000 Intruder 800 (Ret.)
