Thanks Texscottyd! I looked them up and read your post on installing them; it was very helpful. I will order them soon an put them on. BTW Have you noticed a change in handling? I have a bit of front end wobble and hope leaning forward more (weight on front wheel) will help, not to mention be more comfy for my riding style.

Sorry, I don't know how to do the quote thingy but Texscottyd you said you used Rizoma risers to lower your bar. I want to do the same (lower, move forward and make narrower) but haven't found anything I like. Can you post a photo or send a link for the part?

Hi all! I'm new here and just got my Yamaha rack in and want to install the 50L top box but got worried about the warnings all over it about not using panniers and top box together and load capacity and such. The info on here sounds great ad eases my mind. I do a lot of longer distance riding and I may do some trips with my lady on the back and wanted to make sure it would work. I figured as long as I don't overload it more than the recommended max load capacity I shoul dbe fine. Thanks for the info and I will be reading a lot more now that I'm here! James
