  1. @jordo27, I know this isn't the stuff @fjay09 used, but you might check it out: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G6188EM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00 I put it on my bike and, while it's not an exact match, it still looks pretty good and works well!
  2. I finally got around to putting on the rim strips I bought a month ago. http://i.imgur.com/TFqUjwI.jpg I also applied some 3M reflective tape on the saddle bags and used up what I had left over from putting reflective tape on my helmet. You can just see the strips of tape below the seats and the side turn signals. http://i.imgur.com/UO0DzGm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CP0edQ8.jpg http://i.imgur.com/bB3gnBo.jpg BTW, has anyone else noticed their bar end adapters sticking out further on one side of the bars than the other? http://i.imgur.com/KpHLNiT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/zlZx2I6.jpg
  3. @bunyip, interesting idea. Can you post a picture or two of how it looks on your bike?
  4. Just to add fuel to the fire.. Pretty much every review I've read about Arai helmets, and I will confirm based on my personal experience having owned several different models of Arai helmets over the years, is that they are LOUD. Venting is great and everything else about the helmet is top notch though... Hoping they have improved that aspect over the past few years because I'll be looking for a new helmet myself soon.. I hate to say it, but my Arai defiant IS loud. Of course, this is my first helmet, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but, it is loud. But, it also fits my head really well.
  5. Ran over a chunk of metal (which subsequently embedded itself in my rear tire). So, I'm getting a new rear tire today. Oh joy
  6. Didn't do it today, but yesterday, I got my ECU back from 2wheeldynoworks and while I had the bike apart, checked the throttle body sync. It was spot on. Put the ECU back in and took the bike out for a test ride. It rides even better now! Today, I just rode it to over to the motorcycle accessory shop and picked up a couple things.
  7. Just thought I'd chime in here too. I installed an Ermax Sport Screen last week, but today's the first time I've been up to highway speeds. Today, I also removed the hand guard thingys (whatever they're called) before heading out. I'm not overly fond of them and I've read where some people thing they cause buffeting/noise. Lastly, I'm 6'3" with a 33-34" inseam and the seat in the high position. The buffeting was much better than with the stock screen. The Ermax is in the lowest position and I noticed that the wind was hitting me in the center/top of my chest. If it crouched just a little, things felt even better. So, I've lowered my seat and I may play around with raising the screen. But, I thought I'd toss in my experiences.
  8. Installed my Ermax Sport Screen and took it for a test ride. I like the looks and so far it seems to have helped with the buffeting... time will tell. Oh ya, and I removed the panniers. Going to ride it around without them for a little bit to see how I like it.
  9. I'm a little late to the party, but howdy from Dallas. White Rock Lake area.
  10. Welcome to the red family. The S2000s all look the same to me in my rear view mirror. (rofl) LOL, nice! :'(
  11. Purchased a Red yesterday. Normally, I would say Red is the slower color (it is when it comes to S2000's), but not in this case. ~C
