As an addendum, I'm in North Central AZ.

Size Medium, ( as is the Fieldshear above)summer jacket. Very good condition. Zip out lining. Asking $50.

Excellent condition. Good winter coat. Used for two seasons when I had a blue Concours. Zip out lining, zip off collar. Asking $75.

Bought the SWM with the faint directions. Finally got it figured out, but the skid plate itself would not fit. Spent 7.5 hours on it over two days and never got it to fit. If I can't fit a simple skid plate, maybe it's the Ages telling me it's time to retire from motorcycles. I'm 77 and had a good run of 51 years on two wheels. Have ridden in 47 states and enjoyed every second of it. Have to give that some thought.

Okay, I robbed two banks and got enough money to buy a SW-Motech skid plate. Even it's directions s--k a big one. The drawing are very faint and a bit un-understandable. I'm thinking on just giving up on the whole idea.

Why is it that skid plate sellers won't/don't include instructions with their products. I've bought two of them and still no instructions. Kinda given up on the idea of having one. What a PITA. Even asked one of the sellers for directions and he sent me the first page listing the included parts. Not much help. If you recognize either one please,woulod you copy your direction and send them t me.

I have ACC in my Subaru and really lke it. but then I'm 76 and an old fart.

Tried to remount my gas tank. The doggone thing won't fit. I'm going crazy.

Any chance cold get a copy of your McCruise install directions? I've a2015 in Prescott and can't find mine. TIA

Has anyone disconnected the Headlight control Unit. If so, how?

Okay, now that We've located it, how would one go about unplugging it?

Where oh where is the Headlight Control Unit? My headlights went to some far off strange place and I can't find them. Any help will be appreciated by this humble old man. My FJ09 is currently stripped to parade rest.

The headlight control unit. My headlight went out suddenly, all modes. I'm willing to hear any and all suggestions for fixing it. TIA John

It's 48 cool degrees outside this fine AM. I live in the mountains of North Central AZ at 5,500 feet so we do cool down a bit. What I was really wondering was if the Fasst Company Anti-Vibration Inserts at 7/8 inch would fit.

Anyone know offhand the inside diameter of the 2015 FJ handlebar? Too lazy to go out to the cold garage.

No number of years is really enough, but perhaps it's just my time to quit. I once read a story of man who got a 250 from his kids on his 92nd birthday. Always hoped to be like him. Only time will tell.

Weight! I have lost most of my balance as I've gotten. Exercises haven't helped. The FJ was a step down from Concours 14. My wife wants me to quit riding altogether, but I have trouble seeing myself without a bike. Maybe I'm just getting too old. I've been riding since 1971, perhaps 50 years is long enough.

I bought my FJ in August 2017. It was a left over 2015. It reminded me of the 1978 750 Yam triple I had back in the day. Unfortunately I have gotten older and developed a very bad back. As of today I have a grand total of 1396 miles on my FJ. Because of that I'm considering selling it and getting something smaller. Still in the "Thinking about it phase."

Not quite on the road, but we are running, and discovered the culprit what drained the battery in the first place. I'll write about that in another post.

My stupid. Battery is in correctly, but the bike connection was left off. Hooked up the horn and the SAE conns but left the bike conn sitting out of sight. I found it when I went out to check polarity. Thanks for all the help.

Haven't ridden in some time. (it's been too hot, yes I live in AZ.) Went out to start Red yesterday, and she was dead. Nothing when I turned the key on. Pulled the seats and the battery was putting out 2.48 volts. Fortunately I had a spare battery so I put it in. No joy. The batt was putting ou8t 12.62 volt6s but I stilll had nothing Yes. the 50A fuse is good. I have torn the bike down to almost parade rest looking for broken wires, no joy. SUGGESTI0NS ?
