  1. Well that’s good to know I think. I am pretty sure everything is lined up. Everything seems to fit just fine and the side bolts and all are in place. Just doesn’t match exactly like the cloth side does and seems to be a gap. Thanks for the responses. Just driving me little crazy. Don’t see how it could fit any other way. Almost like there is about 1/2” of fairing that should be there.
  2. Hello forum once again. Anyone have any issues with the alignment of the “air” scoops surrounding the gas tank? I picked up a used one recent and the right (brake) side doesn’t seem to line up in the front. It has heated grips so I assumed it has been removed before and not put back together correctly. I removed the top plastic and side parts and it all seems to be in order. With the exception of a gap near the front. Body work and all bolts align well. Am I missing something or anyone else have similar appearance with both sides not looking identical? Nothing seems to bent, broken or missing. Thanks in advance.
  3. Perfect thank you very much. I will just guess my MT has one most likely also and it’s tucked under a few other things that I couldn’t see it.
  4. Ok so this is not my first FJ but but I don’t recall seeing this in the past. Picked up a used 15 and just noticed this (capped White colored) connection while going through and performing a detailed At home inspection. It’s under the front seat and spliced into the harness. Looks OEM to me but hoping the power of the forum will guide me. It’s capped and is not pulled into anything. I also have an 18 MT 09 and it doesn’t seem to have this. Pics for reference.
  5. Not sure if it the same but I have used plasti dip on a lower aftermarket cowl on an older FZ09 I had and it held up great. I never removed it. I did have several coats on it and applied it when it was clean. https://plastidip.com/
  6. Added rear rack and rekey the oem fj bags to work with the ignition key. For anyone thinking about doing a rekey it's easy and didn't take long at all. Also noticed the bags fit better with the rear rack installed.
  7. Day 2 of owning the FJ. Added battery tender harness, peeled off the warning label, added luggage mounts and ASV levers. Will be glad when the bags arrive to attach.
