  1. It sounds like you're having a throttle body issue as well. Good luck, as mentioned my bike is the T9GT. Sorry to hear the 900 is experiencing similar issues.
  2. Unfortunately no, I've just learned to live with it. That and the slight hesitation when accelerating hard out of second gear. I'm hoping it will all be gone after I get it reflashed from 2 Wheeled Dyno Works.
  3. Sorry but I can't remember who I ordered them from. I just Googled billet brake resoversoirs. You'll get a lot of results. They were all cheap but surprising enough appear to be well made. The clip on the front cover does not reach the top but will still prevent the cap from unscrewing.
  4. I just installed billet front and rear brake reservoir covers on the Tracer 9 GT along with a billet oil filler plug. While the changes are very subtle they certainly due add to the appearance of the bike, they make it a little more "high end" looking.
  5. Hey Betoney, I do have a Dremel and Iove it. What I didn't have was a vice so I went lazy and let the shop grind it. It definitely saved me a bunch of time. It took them about 2 minutes.
  6. Hey Robzilla, yes only the bracket for the clutch lever needed grinded down. Hopefully the picture made it clear what to remove. It cost me $10 for them to do. I did reach out to ASV. I spoke to one of their support techs who stated they would update their Fitment chart. I was hoping for a better response but hey........
  7. I installed the ASV F3 series Clutch and Brake levers on my 2021 Tracer 9 GT today. I changed the levers so I could have more adjustability on the clutch lever plus the gold color looks pretty cool. The levers themselves fit perfectly. When it came time to reinstall the bottom bracket for the hand guards on the clutch side things went wrong. Even though the website indicated that the levers would fit, there was no way the bottom bracket would clear the housing on the new lever. My solution was to take the bracket to a metal fab shop to grind away almost all the metal on the part. It ended up fitting perfectly afterwards. These are very nice levers and were worth the hassle IMHO. I was wondering if anyone else has installed them and if so what do you think of them? I will be adding a few pictures.
  8. This really sucks! I wonder if it's based on sales numbers?
  9. Hey FarmForce, why don't you go plant some corn or screw a sheep. Read the entire post.
  10. Hey Scott, yes the bike was finally fixed in February 2022. They also replaced my entire front brake assembly due to the fact my brake rotors were seriously warped. The bike runs great and I love it. Still has the flat spot in second but I've learned to live with it. I will say the 2023 looks interesting. On a different note I am seeing responses to this post that I've never noticed before. I did update the history of my experiences.
  11. When you say that you had your ECU reflashed are you referring to Yamahas reflash or some aftermarket shop? All Yamahas reflash did was make my bike less smooth and the throttle a bit choppy. Once my warranty is up (Yamaha extended my warranty for the time it was down, over 6 months) I plan on sending the ECU out to @ Wheeled Dyno works. They did a nice job on my FJ09.
  12. I know windscreens are a well discussed topic so I thought I'd add my two cents worth on the Madstad. I am 6'1" with a 30 inch inseam. Based on the chart on Madstads website I went with a 24" screen. There are times when I wish that I would have gotten a 26" but the 24 does work fine. The screen will provide nice results whether you ride with it straight up or leaned back. I ride with it leaned back which allows for a bit more air to reach me. Noise with the screen is not an issue. I do use the "wings" that are included with the screen. I have no idea if they improve the ride but they do look cool. I initially was hoping to get another Parabellum screen since the one I had on my FJ09 worked perfectly however they had not created a screen for the Tracer 9. Bottom line, if you have been searching for a decent screen for your T9 Madstad may be the one for you. I find it to work excellent on the T9GT.
  13. I want the heated comfort seat so I can control it through the dash. I find the stock seat to be OK so I'm hoping their comfort seat will be a step up.
