I fitted EvoTech mirror extenders yesterday and moved my Ram clamp from the handlebars to the mirror, sat nav sits a bit higher, I could move my spot light switch to where it should be (ram mount was clamped there), mirror extenders make a massive difference, the mounting bolt needed to be tightened a bit more as the wind resistance on the mirror and sat nav moved them a fraction earlier.

I had dealer wire sat nav to ignition switched cable on my new GT, I have heard a few reports of battery flattening over time because of a parasitic drain if live all the time.
Also my garmin 350 switches off (stand by) when i turn off bike and back on when i start up, eg fuel stops.

There is a review of the GT in MCN (UK) and they fitted the oem heated seat, apparently the loom for it is near the dash? they had to remove windscreen to access it, the switch fits in the blanked off hole on the right of the dash, the accessory plug is on the left .

If you think about it, this approach seems very counter-intuitive - soapy water + adhesive = But I've heard of this technique before... How long did it take for the adhesive to fully cure, betoney?
I've e-mailed the vendor (in Scotland) of the decals I've just ordered asking him if his material is suited to this approach - I hope he says yes, for I'd like to get a better 'fit' and look than hitherto!!
Cheers...
Yes it's counter intuitive but works! Fitted instrument screen protector and clear protector on top of panniers (boot scuffs!) on GT with soapy water and then used hair dryer.

We used to sell a plug and play cruise control kit right here on the forum, but our supplier went out of business and Iv'e been crying ever since.
Get the GT man, its worth it.
Have to agree, wanted cruise and when the gt came out I went for it, by the time you add cost of extras and consider it comes with panniers which are well made go for gt😁

Quick look and continental say gt is for heavy tourers such as fj1300 as they wear front tyre, could be the problem? When my original tyres are done I was going to put road attack on.

Found a bit of scrap thin aluminium so cuved it by hand, trimmed and painted it and secured with as bolts and locknuts, thought about pop rivets but I wanted to make sure it was really secure.
Extenders are silly money (£30!) and not very big, only cost me time.😀
