My stock tyres had done about 9000 miles with about 1000 miles left on the rear but decided to replace both before getting ready to do a couple of short trips in Belgium and France

I was interested in looking up all the accessories for the F900RX, one comes to mind is the centre stand is an optional extra, just like KTM's

It probably is the chain lube getting on the exhaust collector box, I know your meant to spray the chain after a ride but if spraying it cold try and place a piece of card or paper towel over the box, this helps stops the spray going over it

I use the Kriega US 30 for most long trips, handy thing is the straps just fold away under the passenger seat so they are out of sight when not used

Are you running the bike in gear on the main stand whilst revving it or idle speed whilst lubing the chain
-
Tracer 900 2017. I made the mistake of running the bike through the gears on the main stand and it brings up a fault code concerning the rear wheel is turning in gear but the bike is not moving, dealer had to clear the fault code and explained I was not the first

I see Heed also do either an upper or lower crash bar for the Tracer as well

Agreed, I always feel better after a good ride, guess that's why it is called "Two Wheel Therapy".
Therapy is an excellent word to use when riding on 2 wheels, best psychotherapy ever

Hi FB4004
I have the Givi Rack, mount plate and 42ltr Outback top box, the top box may act like an airbrake and drag the back end down a little but its more secure than the plastic types. Hope this helps somewhat as Yamaha don't really recommend fitting a top box

With a running start! No, seriously. When The side cases are on the bike I turn the bars to the right and use the foot peg as if it were a stirrup. The side cases interfere with my leg swing. I'd prefer that the pillion seat were lower, as it is also a bit of an obstacle for me.
Hi duhg
This is exactly the same problem I have when the side cases are fitted especially having shorter legs, bit more sure footed now having fitted the adventure pegs as well

I have just had a KTM power socket fitted and connected the supply using one of the auxiliary connections behind the screen to plug my TomTom 500 sat nav in, this is so i can use the TomTom lead either on my bike or a car
