True but also read the fine print. If the registration is in a state that regulates insurance prices (extended warranties are insurance products) they'll end up refusing to sell it or voiding it and returning your money. WA, CA, a few others....
Thanks for that info. Made me take a look. In June or July this year my first year is up and I was considering the YES warranty. However I will be re-registering the bike from NJ to Florida. I guess Florida is on that list after reading the "Note" on this Yamaha plan purchase page at the bottom just above Exclusions.
Edit: And then I find this so maybe Florida is not on that list...

East coast southern NJ. I have not received any letter yet but entering my VIN on the Yamaha site shows a recall.
What is the issue with the switch? Edit... never mind I see what it is. 😀
BINGO! Got my letter... 🤪

Thanks guys and girls for the replies and I`ve got to tell you, it`s a relief for sure.
I was afraid that I was one of the "unlucky few" that have have problems right out of the gate as we`ve all seen before and not just with Yamaha but with almost any new vehicle or even appliance for that matter. You know what I`m talking about as I`m sure you`ve read some horror story about some poor guy /girl who is experiencing something bad and you think, "Whew, I`m glad that isn`t me".
Now I can find something else to worry about 😉
Like they say... "Ride more and worry less".

I don't have any of these problems with tightness or excessive vibration.
I installed the SW Motech Mirror Extenders as a first mod after bringing the bike home so maybe that has something to do with it.
IDK... maybe maybe not 🤔

My bike stands straight and level on the center stand...

So far - lock washers are working for me.
Me too... with some loctite as MrFritz86 mentioned. And regular nuts, not wingnuts.

The first thing I can think of is about the 2 front wheels and 4 shocks.
How does it feel entering and exiting curves of different degrees? It has to be different. More confident with double the contact patch area?

Congrats to you... good luck with it.
Sharp looking bike. I like the green.

Any opinion on whether these work? Buddy of mine swears by them and have them mounted on his truck bumper : Deer whistles. What's the consensus - life saver or snake oil?

Probably snake oil...
But if you mount them backwards I heard they actually call the deer TO you... 😀 😉

Pardon my ignorance - what does the seat adjustment look like?
For your Niken? It's probably in the owners manual if you have one.
If not go here...
Wow maybe you can't adjust. I didn't see it listed under "Seats" and only specifies 32.9" in the specs.

Nice job knyte... and kudos to keithu for his "point #2".
