Hepco Becker EZ Rack and Journey 48 liter trunk

Got home from work today and found my Hepco Becker stuff from Moto Machines had been delivered...   Dove right in and got it installed this evening and took a couple pics along the way.

I like the mounting brackets much better then the Yamaha rack..  They replace the handrails and are very securely attached to the subframe.  The platform seems very solid and after doing it a couple times, its a piece of cake securing & removing the trunk.  I wouldn't say that its the nicest trunk I've ever had but its solid and should be watertight and serviceable.   The trunk is the dark grey/black one.  The grey isn't an exact match, but close enough..  Most of the instructions are in German but there were a few illustrations that did a reasonable job of showing what hardware goes where...      Now....   on to the pics...

Very nice. I'm just tired of waiting on the much cheaper GIVI rack and went ahead an order this one. Will be mounting the Shad carrier to this rack. Will post pictures with the Shad trunk mounted. Hope it mounts as clean as yours.

Installed the H&B bracket two nights ago, piece of cake. Installed the Shad top case plate to it. Had to drill two holes in the rear of the mount to get the plate to bolt down properly. Working like a charm and so greatful I have a top case again.
