Premium Member wessie Posted May 17, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted May 17, 2015 Anyone going to Mid Wales should check this map https://goo.gl/maps/PNDlE 255 miles round trip from Cheltenham to Cardigan Bay on the Irish Sea coast and back. A mix of bonkers fast A roads and twisty, single track mountain passes with sheep chicanes, red kites and surprisingly few police cars & bikes. You want pictures? Check out google streetview along the route. We stopped at Ty Morgan's cafe in Rhayader for coffee, steak pie lunch in a cafe in the harbour at Aberaeron and another coffee at the Glanusk Services at Senny Bridge. Total stopped time was under 2 hours. Left home at 0840 and got back at 1655. The bike is a great compromise on such mixed terrain. It's no Super Tenere on the bumpier sections and it's no R1 on the fast sweepers but it is a bloody good laugh everywhere. My arse would like a comfier seat. This signature is left blank as the poster writes enough pretentious bollocks as it is.
