After Market Mirrors

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, So I recently busted a mirror on my FJ and need to replace it. But I've honestly never been a fan of the stock mirrors anyway... So I'm wondering if anyone on here has put something different on their bike, and if anyone could give me some examples or ideas for mirrors that you think go well with the look of the bike. There are so many angles and lines on the FJ's, I feel like it deserves a better looking mirror than what comes stock. I have even looked at some mirrors that mount just past the end of the hand grips. A friend of mine put some of those on his KTM Super duke and it looked sharp!

Lots of choices here.

I think I would plump for the aero as it is different, although I have been happy with the originals, but a pair of aftermarket ones is sure to be cheaper than a single Yamaha part

To some extent... These are the ones I've recently found that I kind of like. Still looking.

But I do like the hand guards on the FJ despite what many other people seem to say on the forum. Haha. Which I'm pretty sure these would work. There's close to an inch on the plastic between the end of the grip and where the edge of the guard starts. Might order them and check them out since revzilla has free returns!

those oval jobs don't look as if they will give a wide enough view - they need a bend in the shaft.

So just in case anyone else was interested in buying these mirrors, they did not work on the FJ.  I had to return them. Ended up just buying another stock mirror to replace my broken one.
