moto15 Posted April 3, 2018 Share Posted April 3, 2018 In the YMMV & FYI - having run a Kaoko unit for lots of miles on a R1150GS, and because of the two handed dance & the need for some periodic maintenance on it - I made a change to another brand (had the new brand on a R1200GS for 40K+ miles and it worked there also!). Go look at the Excel Throttle control ( http://www.excelthrottlecontrol.com/ ) - it's a superior unit and works one handed. You can read about it on this post: https://fj-09.org/thread/5603/excel-throttle-control The owner is a designer/tool room machinist and knows his stuff - plus outstanding customer support (the device works with heated FJ09 grips).
